Mosh Pit Monday
Gidday and welcome to another week and Mosh Pit Monday! It’s been a busy week, settling into my new job and getting some stuff done around the house. There’s always something to do. I finally got my studio exactly how I want it and a new version of CuBase on a new computer that is all finally working. Just to find the time to get in there and start recording some new tunes.
This week we’re going to Long Island, NY and I’m going to introduce you to great followers of mine on Twitter, Korotory.  Korotory are a thrash/death/groove metal hybrid that, for the better part of 20 years, has been the underground metal world’s best kept secret. Drawing influence from the best parts of the scene and making their signature sound, they have pushed the boundaries where other bands haven’t.  In the band’s own words, since 1995, they have battled every kind of adversity and used it as fuel to push them. From numerous line up changes to outlasting every trend in the musical landscape, to have no label backing and having to self fund everything with minimal capital, nothing has been able to stop the machine.
Korotory are the type of hard working band that I love. Around for 20 years, it takes a lot for a group of guys to gel together and keep coming up with new material, playing gigs and keep coming out on top. Band members are co founders Ray Truhn on vocals and Darren Markoff on drums, guitarist Eddie Becker and bassist David Elfawal.
This track “This is War” is from the band’s “God Less America” album. As you can tell, there are some wicked riffs and the perfect sound for good thrash metal. They really deserve all the success they can get. I hope they continue to make great music for the next 20 years. You can catch them on Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and Instagram. Keep up the great works guys and thanks for supporting Forever Falling Short and Mosh Pit Monday!
I’ve got training on this week for work so it may not be as busy. Here’s fingers crossed. Hope you all have a great week and keep moshin’! ,,,/ ,,,/
