Mosh Pit Monday
It’s Monday so that means it’s time for Mosh Pit Monday. Time to share a cool new band with you. One that you may know of or one that’s worth adding to your favourite’s list. So many bands, so little time. I managed to have a bit of a jam session with a guy I met through a Facebook group yesterday. He really ripped the lead guitar and we hope we can continue to get something happening, even if it’s a regular jam.
This week I’m taking you all the way to Russia, St Petersburg in fact. I’m not too familiar with bands from this particular area of the world but was pleasantly surprised by this one. Grenouer are a metal/rock band with very cool heavy metal sounds and harmonic lyrics. They have been together since 1992 and with seven albums under their belts, the guys have worked extra hard to get where they are today.

Band members are Andrey Ind on vocals, Alexander Motor on guitars, Danny D on drums and Al Bolo on bass. With the release of their eighth album “Unwanted Today” out now, the guys have delivered yet again. A very cool mixture of heavy metal with plenty of melody, groove and kicking metal beat.
This is the title track from the new album “Unwanted Today” and you’ll agree, it’s fantastic! The guys are a well travelled band and if you want to catch up with them check out their Facebook page, website or follow them on Twitter for the latest news. You can purchase their new album here on Amazon. I’m definitely going to take more notice of bands from this part of the world from now on. Great work guys!
Hope you have a great week in music. I’m learning a few classic rock songs from Led Zeppelin and AC/DC for my next jam session with my mate, which is a little new to me, but looking forward to expanding the horizons. ,,,/ ,,,/
