Mosh Pit Monday
Welcome to another week and another Mosh Pit Monday. After my ranting and raving last week about all that I had on my plate, I can finally ‘see the forest for the trees’ and making progress on all things. Drainage work has begun on the house so, fingers crossed, no more flooding. Jam room has had a bit of a touch up and organised so ready for more recording very soon. Work has quietened down so I’m ready to get busy on everything else that has been on hold.
This week I’m heading to Dallas, Texas and would like to introduce you to “Fit For A King”, a hardcore metal Christian band. They’ve got the sound I love and have hit the floor running into the music scene with their debut album “Creation/Destruction” in 2013.
The band comprises Ryan Kirby on vocals, Bobby Lynge on guitar, Jared Easterling on drums and Ryan “Tuck” O’Leary on bass/vocals.  The guys are already huge on the touring circuit and have cemented themselves a spot on the Vans Warped Tour for 2015.
The release of “Slave to Nothing” in late 2014 is already achieving great success around the world and very similar to the sounds of “Parkway Drive” in my opinion. A fantastic bunch of young guys, themselves having being touched by the destruction of substance abuse, they have a fantastic sound with a heavy metal core punch. Great work guys! You can find them on Youtube, Twitter, Facebook and their own website here. Check them out!
So, until next Monday, stay tuned for more music updates and hopefully some freshly recorded tunes from me. (PS If you’d like to be featured on Mosh Pit Monday, drop me a line on my Facebook page, Twitter account or email on dfm2375 at gmail dot com.)  ,,,/ ,,,/
