Already turning and banging heads around the South East with their unique sound of uptempo , soiled thrashing riffs and neck breaking drums and vocals, Last 9 Days are one band to look out for in 2015. You can keep up to date with gigs and new releases on their Facebook page here.
It’s Monday and time for another Mosh Pit Monday! Hope you had a great weekend. It was nothing but head down and bottom up for us, just pottering around the ‘bottomless pit’ and doing odd jobs. We needed the week to get over Soundwave so with work etc keeping us busy during the week, we had to get stuck into it on the weekend. No time for music, surfing or skateboarding. We’re officially in Autumn but you wouldn’t think so. It’s been so damn hot here in Brisbane.
On the other hand, I did get to find out about a new band from Brisbane and I’d like to share them with you today. A mate of mine told me about Last 9 Days and when I heard them, they were right up my alley.
I don’t know too much about them other then that they are a four piece wrecking crew from Brisbane, Australia. Forming in late 2014 from four different established Australian metal bands, they wasted no time hitting the local scene with their hard edged thrash attack and recording a 6 song demo sampler to showcase their style. The band consists of Matt on guitar/vocals, Mick on guitar, Mohawk on bass and Damien on drums.
