So, I told you I got engaged. Now comes the next big thing, getting married. Ever since I can remember, I’ve always wanted to get married. I looked up to the relationship my parents had and always wanted the same thing. Trouble was, I couldn’t get a girlfriend let alone a potential wife. That was until I met my fiance in May last year.

Wonder if she’d like this as the wedding cake?

We took things slowly and everything just fell into place. You may remember ‘the proposal‘ back in February? Well, it’s all systems go now for a wedding. We’ve set a date for May 2016. I’ve got no idea what to expect. I’ve only been to a couple weddings in my life but have no clue as to what goes on behind the scenes. My partner is setting up appointments for caterers, photographers and marriage celebrants. All I’ve been told is to show up on the day (and hand over the wallet!)

~Tomorrow is busy worrying about itself; don't get tangled up in its worry-webs. Trust God one day at a time.~ Matthew 6:34 NLT "So don't worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today's trouble is enough for today.

I couldn’t be more happy. It’s like my dreams have come true. I couldn’t have wished for a better life long partner. No one has a crystal ball so you never know how these things will work out. We both live by the motto “to live one day at a time” and we live every one of those days to the fullest.

From now until May next year, I’ll just nod and agree with everything. As long as she is happy, that’s all I care about.
