Mosh Pit Monday
Gidday folks! It’s Monday and that means it’s time for another Mosh Pit Monday and time to feature another band. I finally finished a song, from start to finish, and would just like to get it digitally mastered before I release it. I’m a bit of a perfectionist so don’t want to release it until it’s just right so stay tuned for it’s release. Besides that, not much has been happening gig wise. There are a couple local gigs coming up that I’d like to get to so keep your eyes open for reviews on those. In the meantime, it’s another week of work and time to share this week’s feature band.
This week’s band is Piranha, a hard rock/heavy metal band out of Minneapolis, Minnesota in the USA. Founded in November 2005, the band has been punching out some hard hitting rock tunes for a while now and with a few changes to their line up, are still delivering the goods with regular gigs and new music.
Founded by bass guitarist Tracie Radermacher and Adam Easterbook on drums, they are supported by Ryan Boyd on guitar and Jesse Maloney on vocals. Piranha is due to play at the upcoming Totally Fukn Awesome Fest 3.0 at the Skyway Theatre in Minneapolis this June 25 with other great acts such as Head Charge.
Released in March 2016, OMOT is typical of what you can expect from Piranha. That mix of hard rock, head banging metal with the right mix of vocals from Jesse Maloney, fully support by Tracie, Adam and Ryan. If it’s live music you love, and you’re in Minnesota, go check out Piranha. Stay tuned for future gig announcements and music releases by following Piranha on Facebook, TwitterYoutube, Reverbnation and their website. Good luck guys!
I hope you have a great week in music and until next week, remember, keep moshin’. ,,,/ ,,,/
