Mosh Pit Monday
Gidday everyone and welcome to another Monday and another Mosh Pit Monday. Boy, has it been cold this last weekend gone. I guess you get that in winter. We were complaining about such a long hot summer. We felt like we never even got an Autumn (Fall) here in Brisbane but once June arrived, so did the cold weather. We haven’t been going to many gigs lately. Always seem to have something else on but we’re try to get to see some local bands next weekend so stay tuned. Now, onto this week’s feature band.
This week’s band is from Cincinnati, Ohio in the USA. bIg toBacCo CoMpaNY (as they write it) are a 5 piece metal band who have been around since December 2012. There is a Surgeon General’s Warming when listening to them “Listening to BTC can cause head banging, thrashing and manic euphoria, listen at your own risk”. Good old fashioned, head banging brutal metal, the band was founded by brothers Evan and Alec Ullman with guitarist Brad Burns. Within weeks of launching, their online presence was felt with hundreds of thousands of song plays.
Band members are Evan Ullman on vocals, Alec Ullman on drums, Brad Burns on guitar, Chris Brumer on bass and Bobby Ullman on guitar. There’s an album currently in production and we can’t wait to hear it. The guys have gelled well together to produce some awesome metal tunes that pack a punch. As much as some of their songs have a real brutal feel, they can back it up with a nearly progressive/punk/rock metal sound. A truly versatile band.
“Fork” is one of their new tracks which is what I’m talking about. They really can mix it up. If you want to follow bIg toBacCo CoMpaNY you can do here on Facebook, Twitter and Youtube. Keep up the great work guys!
So, until next week, when you should see a brand new Forever Falling Short website, have a great week and remember to keep moshin’. ,,,/ ,,,/
