Mosh Pit Monday
Welcome to another week of Mosh Pit Monday! Glad to have you here. It’s been a busy week with possible new job prospects, in addition to my current work and general day to day stuff. I haven’t got around to posting my review on the Parkway Drive concert but will hopefully get to it this week. It was a mad night and so, so good.
Last week it was confirmed that Parkway’s latest album “Ire” reached number 1 on the Aussie charts. Well done guys! It couldn’t happen to nicer blokes. If you haven’t got yourself a copy yet, you must. It’s a great album.
This week we’re going to the US and I’m featuring Spider Rockets, a fantastic rock band out of New Jersey.

“Spider Rockets combines contemporary loud rock with classic rock elements. The New Jersey-based band travels the sonic spectrum from dark and seductive to energetic to angry, with a dynamic live show and scream-along anthems.”

Band members are Helena Cos on lead vocals, Johnny Nap on lead guitar/backing vocals, Dan Prestup on drums and Greg Manning on bass/backing vocalist.  Helena fronts the band and, with the talent backed by the band, they can mix it up from hard rock to melodic harmonies with a bit of punk thrown in for good measure. The band’s range will appeal to all lovers of music from many genres.
Spider Rockets have released a new CD “Bitten” and the above is a track on the album. If you like a bit of variety in your music, give Spider Rockets a listen. You won’t be disappointed. You can follow them on Facebook and Twitter. Great work guys!
Think of me next Monday when I’ll be sunning myself on the beautiful Sunshine Coast in Queensland for my honeymoon. I won’t let you down though because Mosh Pit Monday will still go to air. Have a great week in music and keep moshin’! ,,,/ ,,,/
