Mosh Pit Monday
Welcome to Mosh Pit Monday and the first one as a married man. Yes, I got married on the weekend and I’ve got to say, even after the hectic two days prior where we were totally exhausted, it was the best day of my life. I truly know what it’s like to feel naturally high from a wonderful event. A beautiful wife, a day without hiccups, surrounded by loved family and friends. A truly perfect day. We just can’t stop talking about it and it’ll be a long time before we come down from this high. We’ll get official photos in a few weeks but here’s a few from friends.

My beautiful wife styled the complete event in a vintage styled rock music wedding theme, completely DIYing everything. I always wondered what she was up to these last few months but just stayed out of it. When I saw it all come together, I was completely blown away. All I did was hand over my wallet! Stay tuned for more photos. But enough about that, let’s get moshing.

I’ve been wanting to let you know about Forever Still for ages(appropriate for this week’s Mosh Pit Monday, don’t you think), a fantastic rock band out of Denmark. From their web site:

Forever Still is a completely honest and emotional in-your-face heavy rock band with no excuses. The band’s wide array of brooding beats, atmospheric electronic textures, and lunging guitar riffs compliment vocal powerhouse Maja Schønning’s emotionally revealing lyrics, which range from breathy and beautiful singing to scathing and aggressive screams.

Breaking Free Cover Art
For me, they’re the perfect blend of edgy rock on the verge of heavy metal. Well played, hard hitting riffs with lead singer Maja’s vocal range complimenting the band and the style of music they play so well.
Band members are Maja Schønning, Mikkel Haastrup and Dennis Post. Their debut EP “Breaking Free” was released in 2013 but the band are currently working on a new album and planning on getting on the road as soon as possible. I certainly hope they make their way downunder. I reckon they’d really rock it live. You can follow Forever Still on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Tumblr, Youtube and Bandcamp.  Can’t wait for the new album guys.

Until next week, I’ll be riding this ‘natural’ high of being a married man. Life couldn’t get any better at the moment. (PS All that hard work I was complaining about before the wedding really paid off.) Keep moshin’ everyone! ,,,/ ,,,/
