I bought this Yamaha RBX260 bass guitar online secondhand in Brisbane for the sum of $50.00. It had no strings and a crack through the head stock. I liquid nailed and viced the head stock which is now extremely solid with no crack opening when I tune it. I bought new strings and gave it a good clean up. I am not that accustomed to bass guitars though through doing recordings and having no one to jam with I figured I could at least do my own bass riffs. My partner has shown an interest in playing bass to help out with songs, and she seems to have picked it up pretty quickly. You go baby! I don’t have a bass amp though I do run it through my guitar amp, with the settings down low as I have been advised to by various musician friends and have no issues with it. I like the feel of it and the neck and frets are well made. This bass is good enough for what I need. I have this guitar tuned to standard E tuning.
