Mosh Pit Monday
It’s that time of the week for Mosh Pit Monday and a short week at that. Public holidays coming up this week to celebrate Easter. I’m looking forward to the time off to catch up with some things at home.
I gotta tell you. The world of music opens up so many opportunities and it doesn’t matter who you start talking to about it, they have some connection, or so it seems lately. We (well my fiance in particular) started organising our wedding for May 2016 and we had an interview with a potential photographer. As soon as we found out she was an approved rock’n’roll bride and musician photographer and saw a photo (as above), we knew we found the right photographer. MillyJane Photography has an awesome portfolio and as it turns out, her partner is the lead vocalist and guitarist for this week’s feature band, Vyrion.
Vyrion are an Aussie black metal band, from Brisbane who have been around since 2006. Their progressive metal sound is unique and instantly recognisable, being compared to bands such as Satyricon and other similar European heavy metal bands.
The four piece bands consists of Dale Williams on guitar and vocals, James Hill on bass and vocals, Mark Boyce on guitar and Leo Graae on drums.  Their July 2014 release, Geo, has been received to critical acclaim and can be listened to here. If you’re into the agressive, progressive, black metal sound, you must have a listen to Vyrion. We can’t wait to see them live. You can follow their schedule on Facebook and here on Bandcamp.
In the meantime, have a great week of music and I’ll try and be more enthusiastic with the wedding plans. ,,,/ ,,,/
