I currently have two of this particular guitar, one red, one blue.  I have always been a fan of Jackson guitars since I started listening to METALLICA back in the early 90’s. When I first saw Kirk play his Jackson I knew I was sold on what I wanted at some point.  I have had many guitars since I started playing though never seemed to keep them long enough due to mainly hocking them to help fund my old drug habit.  Today I have four of the V range of guitars three being Jackson and one a Kramer.

I bought these Jacksons secondhand, again from my favourite pawn shop for a couple hundred bucks each and have loved them ever since.  I love the fact that they are a metal guitar though can be used for many styles.  I really like the necks as I find them super smooth, very lightweight and they have a great sound with a good distortion.  Again, I could find no faults with these guitars. I just f**king love them.

I have my red Jackson tuned to dropped D and I have my blue one tuned to B.

Jackson Randy Rhoads JS30RR Electric Guitar

The Jackson JS30RR Rhoads JS Series Electric Guitar looks great and plays fast. Late guitar whiz Randy Rhoads backed up Ozzy with lightning-fast, classically-based riffs. He worked with Jackson to design this unique-looking and fast-playing electric guitar with dual Jackson CVR2 humbucker pickups for plenty of high-end sparkle. The string-thru alder body with bolt-on maple neck produces great sustain and the compound radius rosewood fretboard with 24 jumbo frets aid clean runs. Jackson put chrome tune-o-matic bridge and die-cast tuners on the JS30RR guitar.

Jackson’s compound-radius fingerboard curves more dramatically at the nut for easy chording and flattens out as it approaches the neck joint for low-action bends without fretting out. With a more relaxed hand, you’ll play better.
